Had our end of summer teacher's meeting for Religious Education tonight to talk about all the upcoming changes for our 100% virtual school year starting at the beginning of October. I so immensely miss being here more often, and I'm definitely going to miss my classroom in the fall. :(

Today was such a nice day with friends & family! We spent a few hours in the pool before heading to the movies with a group of friends (Tommy, Alyssa, Jax, Tony, & Luke) to see Unhinged. In the evening we hung out at my parents' house again, playing games and just enjoying a day that felt very un-COVID/quarantine times.

Charlotte's summer violin recital was tonight! She played beautifully, as per the usual. Afterwards most of the attending headed over to Andy's for some custard!

THE MOVIES ARE OPEN AGAIN!!!!! Mike and I saw Bloodshot tonight for only .15 a ticket!! It was so nice getting to go out to the theaters again!

Happy Ferragosto!! 🇮🇹
Today we celebrated our annual Italian holiday with friends & family in our home! I prepared Panzella (salad), Pomodori al Riso (Roman rice-stuffed tomatoes), Pollo ai Peperoni with potatoes, & Gelo di Anguria (Sicilian watermelon pudding) for dessert! Everything turned out amazing which I was very pleased about.
After dinner we watched the Hawks and played some games together all night long!
