Tennessee Vacation: Day 1

Today we left at about 4AM to head to Midway for our 5:45AM flight to Nashville! 🤠 The flight was quick, only about an hour and a half. My dad picked us up (he, my mom, and Jax had driven down yesterday) and then we napped for a few hours before heading out to see the town!

We parked by Nissan Stadium and then walked over the awesome people bridge to get to Broadway Street! We decided to get drinks at Kid Rock's Honky Tonk where we enjoyed live music and people watched from our balcony/window table.

We stopped by Luke Bryan's bar (Luke's 32 Bridge), but it was pretty packed so we left shortly thereafter.

We ended up having lunch at Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar. Since it's St. Patty's, I obviously had to get the corned beef. 💚

After we ate, we wandered around Broadway Street for awhile checking out the cool stores and such.

We went back to the hotel to rest back up some more (what a long day it had been, waking up so early then walking around so much! 😵) before going back out to enjoy the nightlife. I forgot to get a picture of myself, but I wore my green shamrock dress this time. 😊 Jax was exhausted so he stayed back. The streets were beyond packed because of the holiday—we only stayed at Tootsie's for one drink because there was barely any room to walk! 😬 Thankfully, we stumbled upon the Yellow Mellow where we were able to get yummy drinks and pizza (and a table!).

To end the night we went to Ole Red where we enjoyed listening to another live band for a few hours. It has been so fun so far hearing all these young artists and bands preforming down here!! 🎤🎶

Today was day two back at work and clearly Ryder's already done with it. 😂

After Mike and I were off work we put on on some green gear and headed to my in-laws for an (early) St. Patrick's Day dinner. 🍀 Mary and Ken were there, along with Matt—who is staying with the Mike Sr & Laura while he works this week with DC.

Also: I love that even when I have long sleeves on you can still see her first name peeking out. :)

I will never be able to compete with the level of love she has for her daddy. 🥺

Today was my first day back at work—and I'm not gonna lie it wasn't the easiest. But having my two babies to keep me company and take turns laying under my desk made the day a little less hard. ❤️

Happy 3rd Birthday Ryder & Nessie!! 🥳🎂🎈🐾

I cannot believe my furry babies are already THREE! Time flies when you’re having fun—and these two most definitely bring endless laughter, bundles of love, & complete, utter joy to our lives every single day. ☺️ I’m so blessed to be loved unconditionally by these two amazing pups; I truly am the luckiest dog mom on this planet!! 🥰

Somehow my parents managed to spoil the pups with even more treats & toys than we did this year. 😂
