Happy happy 21st birthday to me!! :D

Today Michael spoiled me to death (no surprise!). We started the day off with a lovely breakfast! After that we headed into the city for a day of sightseeing and shopping along Michigan Avenue. We had fun going into practically every shop up and down the street—even if we weren't interested in the store or what they had to offer. We always have fun together, no matter what the situation. :)

Mike got me the cutest little Rapunzel doll from the Disney store (my favorite store!!), as well as a gorgeous Rapunzel mug. Perfect for my tea drinking needs. :) He also got me my own personal candy jar from Dylan's Candy Bar. We had a blast sampling candies and filling it up together!

Later we headed to the main event of the evening: The Blue Man Group! I had never been before but always wanted to go, so I was super excited! The show was so amazing. Completely blew me away. It was funny and shocking and just downright amazing! We adored every bit of it. We even got a picture with one of the Blue Men after the show!

It seriously was just a fantastic birthday weekend. Michael outdid himself, per the usual. I am so thankful and so lucky to have him in my life!

So today is the day before my birthday! This morning my darling Michael came over with all kinds of lovely surprises for me!



He made me the most beautiful Tangled cake I have ever seen! I literally stood gawking at it excitedly for like twenty minutes.

He also brought me balloons, which I always love. And! His amazing gift to me! He made me a Tangled flag banner! Just like from the movie!! Ahhh! I was so excited! I love them so much!!!!

After I was done freaking out, he took me out for brunch at one of my favorite breakfast places: the Jam and Jelly Café. Our food was super yummy! I was a very happy girl. :)

Later in the evening, Michael, my family, and I went out for dinner at Ted's Montana Grill. We had to wait for a table, so the boys and I had fun shopping around the stores at the Promenade in the meantime. Mike took me into Claire's and bought me several cute pairs of earrings.

Dinner, of course, was delicious. I had a fantastic sirloin steak. After that, we all headed to the Brunswick Zone for some bowling! Everyone had a lot of fun together bowling and being silly.

When we got home it was time for cake! Obviously we had the amazing Tangled cake Mike made. But in addition, my mom bought me a puppy cookie cake and some birthday cupcakes! Everyone sang to me, then my family gave me my presents. They are just too good to me!

It was such a fantastic day! Honestly, it was probably the best birthday I've ever had! And it isn't even my birthday yet!!

Currently enjoying my first cup of tea made with my brand new tea set from India!! I was super surprised and excited to receive such a thoughtful gift from Mike's dad. I thanked him so much for it! I will definitely be using it in plenty!

Happy 47th birthday to my wonderful mother! ❤🎂🎉

I bought her two pretty pieces of jewelry—a necklace and a ring. She loved both!

And, of course, she got flowers from me too. :)

Mike surprised me today with a trip to Medieval Times as a pre-birthday celebration! 

We went last fall and it was so much fun. This time was even better, because my sweetheart bought us the Royalty Package—which meant we had front row! It was a totally new experience to watch the show so close! The food, as usual, was delicious. The tomato soup and garlic bread are my favorite part!

My lovely guy also had a shoutout dedicated to me for my birthday! My name was announced by the princess and I got an awesome certificate to take home. And, unlike last time we went, our Red & Yellow Knight won! We cheered super loud and got very into it. Overall, it was just such a great time. I am so thankful for my thoughtful guy and all that he constantly does for me! :)
