Fireworks #4: BBQ & Bolingbrook Golf Course
Today was busy!! We started the morning heading to the Morton Arboretum to take our engagement photos. After that, we quickly changed before heading to my aunt's house for a family Fourth of July BBQ! I was really excited, because my cousin Jon and his new fiancée Jess were going to be there!! We hadn't seen them since they'd gotten engaged!

After it got dark, we said goodbye to the family and headed out to attend our fourth and final fireworks show of the week.
Despite the approaching storm, we decided to still head over to Plainfield East in hopes that the fireworks show would still happen. We ended up watching a really cool neighborhood show nearby before the rain finally came! ⛈ We then jumped in our cars where we then enjoyed one of the coolest displays alongside the 40mph wind/rain combo & crazy lightning!! Charlotte, Laura, Mike, and I were all huddled up in the van while the weather shook our car, the street lamps went out, and the fireworks continued to go off despite it all! Easily one of the most unique experiences ever!! 😄
