My Auntie Jan hosted a Halloween party today! Everyone had such awesome costumes! Mike and I were pirates; Jax was a cowboy; Dad was a hockey player who'd gotten into a bad fight; Jen, Aria, Rylan, and Ava were Bo Peep, Barbie, Buzz Lightyear, and Jesse; Josh was Forky; Jan was a witch (of sorts); and Jonathan was Jack Skellington (kinda, lol).





Somehow these are the only photos I got from the party. :(

My dad's 50th birthday is on the 28th, so Jan also made him a cake and we celebrated his birthday!

I came home today to the cutest little Halloween spread prepared just for me by my darling husband! Halloween décor, snacks/treats, and goodies! We snuggled up on the couch together and put on a scary movie... It was an absolutely perfect night. I am so thankful for my very sweet, very thoughtful man.

Happy Winter Thanksgiving 2019!! 🍪🍫💙💜 My treats from Ang came in the mail today! How special it is to have a friend who celebrates special holidays with me, unique to only us. Thank you for ALL you do for me on the daily—especially lately...idk how you put up with me tbh. 😂 You’re amazing on so many levels even if you refuse to admit it!! Thank you for being just as extra as me, for always supporting and loving me, and for just honestly being the world’s best friend. I truly don’t know what I’d do without you, Ang. 😭 ILYSM, you precious donut. 🍩♥️ ps, thank you for so sweetly thinking of Mike and making sure his favorite brownies were in the box you picked YOU’RE TOO MUCHHHH😩

Later in the evening we met up with Mike's parents and headed to the Botanic Gardens. And what a frightfully fun night it was! 🎃🧡 I had such a great time getting into the fall spirit & checking out all kinds of amazing pumpkins with my favorite people (missing Charlotte!). Always thankful for a night out with the fam.

Today is National Boss's Day, so I got my two awesome bosses a card plus a "world's best boss" mug, just like Michael bought himself in The Office. ;) They both loved them!

One final new holiday tradition for us to celebrate, this time paying homage to Mike’s German side! We got dinner this evening at the authentic German restaurant, Hofbräuhaus! The atmosphere was so fun, the food was mouthwatering, and the live music was amazing! Everything was so yummy, but I’d have to say my favorite part was the homemade pretzels. 😋 I had such a fantastic evening with my German husband! 😘 So happy to have yet another new family holiday & tradition to celebrate! ❤️🖤💛

We just love having a fenced in yard to play in! Got to enjoy the beautiful weather sitting outside on the patio while the pups got to run around freely, wrestle, and play fetch. :)

While hanging out at my family's house tonight, my dad had the boys help him set up the scarecrow outside. They also brought down all of my family's Halloween décor from the attic, so while the guys were busy assembling I had fun dressing up all the pups in some costumes. ;)

Sookie and Ryder were football puppers (a "linebarker" and "wide retriever", to be specific), Charlie was a thief doggo, and Nessie (who couldn't wear anything that might rub on her stitches) was a pirate puppy.
