So last night the last episode of American Idol aired. And quite honestly, I was pretty emotional about it. I know that Idol probably seemed like a cheesy, overrated show to most. But to me, it was so much more. American Idol was the one show every week that my entire family would sit down together and watch. We'd chuckle at the comical acts, talk up our favorites, and overall just have a great time together. As the years went on, less of my family would watch it. But to me, the show will always represent those "family Idol nights" I used to love so much. I'm so sad to see the show go, but so thankful for all the great memories it provided me.
