Happy Valentine's Day!! ❤️
Michael surprised me with beautiful roses (my favorite!) and an adorable balloon. We got dressed up all cute before heading to the surprise dinner...which turned out to be 10 minutes from my house at La Dolce Vita!
The restaurant was so cute. And the food... Mmmm. I ordered this stuffed shrimp and pasta dish that was just absolutely scrumptious.
After dinner we headed back to Mike's neck of the woods, where we bundled up and went skating! The Donelson's have a pond behind their house that they've always skated on in the winter, and this was my first time getting to try! It was so much fun skating out there. Although the ice was a bit bumpy, it was so nice having a whole rink just to ourselves! We twirled and skated all around for a long while before calling it quits.
It truly was a very special, romantic evening. :)
