February 25th, 2019

Tonight in class I read the story of David and Goliath, with they all loved! To emphasize how big Goliath was, I taped a bunch of piece of paper together and stood them up against the wall. The kids could not believe how huge he was! They had fun comparing their sizes to it, and they definitely seemed to enjoy the fact that David was similar in size to them.

Later, we also read the Parable of the Sower. The kids had to draw pictures of what happened to each of the four types of seeds! We ended class by making a Lent prayers book. In it they listed an item/thing they wanted to give up, a bad habit they wanted to give up, and a good habit to take up. They all came up with so many great ideas! I am amazed so often by the grace, selflessness, and purity of these wonderful kids.
