White Lake Vacation: Day 8



We had to say goodbye to the lake today, until next year. :(




But! It wasn't a totally bad thing, because going home meant we got to see our puppies! :) We were overjoyed as soon as we were reunited.

I've decided I'm never leaving them again, lol.

July 26th, 2019

White Lake Vacation: Day 7

Our last full day! :( We went to the restaurant on the resort tonight for the annual Friday Fish Fry! As has been custom, we asked for crayons and had a drawing contest on the paper tablecloth while we ate and socialized, lol.



After dinner, we got as many of us as we could to meet by the beach to take a few group photos! I think they turned out gorgeous.

After it got dark, we made sure to head to the game room to sign the signature wall for 2019!

Going to need another milestone before next year so we'll have a new cute symbol to add for 2020. ;)

We also finally added a dollar to the bar ceiling! In all the years coming up, we'd never done it! All of Rancho cabin signed and we picked a spot right by our usual table in the corner to hang it.



Also! Dad picked up the pups a day early from the vet, so they got to spend a full day with him (plus Sookie and Charlie!) playing at the park and swimming in the pool! I was so happy to know they'd be spending the last night with him instead of in the kennels at the vet.

White Lake Vacation: Day 6

Pontoon Day, part two! Since some of the group didn't come up until yesterday due to work and school, we wanted to do a second day on the pontoon so that everyone had the opportunity to go!

We finally had the entire group up today, so we all made sure to get together as a group and hang out!

It was karaoke night, so you know we sang loud and proud. ;) We also ended up playing several rounds of darts and pool!

White Lake Vacation: Day 5

Another fun day on the lake! Some of the ladies went on the "lazy river" boat ride. Since the lake is so high this year, there's no speed boats or tubing. Instead, they're tying a bunch of floats to the back of the resort boat and slowly pulling people around the lake! Meanwhile, Mike and I kayaked to the sandbar and back!



Later into the evening, we hung out with Pat at his home and he showed us his awesome DJ equipment! We had such a blast dancing all night long!




Later still, some of the boys did some night fishing!

White Lake Vacation: Day 3

Today was pontoon day! It was super hot, which I loved, and I definitely got a ton of color while we were out on the water! It was such a relaxing afternoon floating out on our rafts in the middle of the lake!



Also today: I officially got my White Lake flip flops for completing the drinking card! ;)
