Happy Independence Day!! 🇺🇸
Michael and I headed to Downers Grove to watch the parade this morning. We loved seeing all the floats and marchers—and getting candy and goodies was nice too. ;)
After the parade we had time to spare before my family had guests coming over, so we decided to go to the movies to see The Shallows. Because what could be more patriotic than watching a bunch of people getting eaten by a massive shark?
After the movie we went back to my family's house. My cousins Jill and Ryan stopped by, along with our family friends the Young's. We ended up starting a big backyard game of baseball—Team Jax vs Team Ryan. My team sadly lost, though we were good sports and congratulated Team Jax on the victory. Overall, it was a really nice Independence Day!
