Happy 21st Birthday to the absolute love of my life!! ❤🎂🎉
On Mike's actual birthday, we celebrated with his family. I came over early with more balloons (like I said, he loves them!). During the afternoon, Mike, Char, and I headed over to Canlan Ice to go skating. There were about three other people total there
besides us, so it was really nice having the whole rink practically to ourselves. However, for whatever reason it was completely freezing...so we ended up heading back home a lot sooner than planned. We stopped to buy some ice
cream (which we needed for later, when we had cake) and got into some shenanigans while we browsed around.
Once we got back, we three played some PS4 for a little while before the whole family all headed out to BD's Mongolian Grill to get dinner. As usual, the food was delicious. We
returned home for cake, before deciding to finish off the night with some bowling. Only Mike, Charlotte, Laura, and I went bowling, but it was still a lot of fun. Mike wore his "bowling shirt" and Charlotte proved she was definitely the superior
bowler.
Before leaving, the three of us noticed a photo booth. So naturally we had to take some pictures together! This particular booth had an interior camera within the booth (which we all literally crammed inside) as well as an exterior camera that took a more zoomed-out photo. Obviously, we tried both. After bowling we ended the evening with several rounds of Mario Kart. Mike and Charlotte are much better than I am (years of practice), but it is always a fun time. More memories were made together, which I am always so
grateful for. :)
